Welcome to the Kings Junior High Guidance Office!

The KJH Guidance office has a counselor for both seventh and eighth grade students. Guidance services include personal counseling, resolving scheduling conflicts, adjustments to school setting, assignments of classes, group counseling, resolution of personal and group conflicts, report cards questions, etc. In all instances, confidentiality is a prime concern and information is always kept in private unless dictated by law that a report must be made to authorities. Such a report might include information dealing with suspected child abuse or neglect, illegal drug use, or abuse or self-threatening actions.
