What is KAPP?
KAPP stands for Kings After Prom Party. After Prom is an all night party organized by King's parents for our juniors, seniors and their guests. The After Prom Party provides students with a safe and fun place to spend time with their friends after the formal prom. The party lasts from Midnight to 5 a.m. This year we are excited to announce the After Prom Party will be held at Kings High School on April 16, 2011. There will be inflatable games, a hypnotist, a casino, carnival games, raffled gifts and much more.
What can I do to help?
Our meetings are periodically throughout the school year. Watch EBBN for dates and times. We are looking for energetic and creative people (men and women) who would like to see the students have a fun-filled safe evening.
But my child is only a Freshman, why do you need me?
Many of our parents started on this committee as freshman parents and have enjoyed watching our students have fun during this event. They stay on the committee all through their student’s high school career. It is a great way to get involved with the school and meet new people. It takes the whole school to make this event a success.
