Kings Athletics Hall of Fame 2018
The Kings Athletic Department and the Kings Athletic Booster Club welcomed four new members to the Kings Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday, February 3. The Inductees were honored in a ceremony with friends and family at TPC River’s Bend on Saturday evening.
Kings Athletic Director Tyler Miller stated, “This year’s class represents the best of Kings High School. Not only were they phenomenal on the athletic field of play, they were role models for our community and our current student-athletes. They are the epitome of a student-athlete and they will forever be enshrined in our Hall of Fame. It was an honor to give them the recognition they deserve.” The Hall of Fame Class of 2018 Inductees are:
Anna Bersani (Swimming – 2004-2008)
- 2008 FAVC Female Swimmer of the Year
- 4 Time All-FAVC Honors (Multiple Events)
- 4 Time OHSAA State Qualifier (100 Free, 400 Free, 100 Back)
- 4 Time FAVC Champion (100 Backstroke)
- 6 Time Top 15 at OHSAA Championship (Multiple Events)
- Held 3 individual Kings Swimming Records
Sam Graessle (Swimming – 2001-2005)
- 2004 & 2005 FAVC Male Swimmer of the Year
- 2003 FAVC Cardinal Division Team Champions
- 2004 FAVC Individual Champion (100 Fly)
- 3 Time OHSAA State Qualifier (2003, 2004, 2005)
- Holds 2 Kings Swimming Records (400 IM & 100 Fly)
