Mental Health Crisis Resources

Posted on: December 16, 2019

Suicide is the second leading cause of death in adolescents. Sometimes when a brain health crisis occurs, we don't always have the resources available at our fingertips. Recently, the following numbers were shared at the High School and Jr. High levels (due to age appropriateness).

We wanted to ensure that our parents have the numbers available, as well. Please take a moment to take out your cell phone and enter the following crisis numbers:

National Crisis Hotline: 1-800-273-TALK (8255)

Text 4hope to 741 741
or say "Suicide Resources" to Siri on Apple Products

Warren County: 877-695-NEED (6333) (this is a local hotline we have our Hope Squad also using)

These crisis lines are operated 24/7.

As always, please do not hesitate to reach out to our Social and Emotional Health Coordinator, Kim Sellers if you have any questions or concerns regarding a student or situation.
