New KJH Principal Named

Mr. Eric Dunn, current Principal of Pleasant Run Middle School in the Northwest Local School District was approved by the Kings Board of Education on Tuesday, April 16 to become Kings Junior High School's next principal beginning August 1, 2019. He will replace Nicole Huelsman who has resigned and will continue her career at Madiera Middle School.
 
Dunn has been in education for 17 years. After graduating from Miami University, Mr. Dunn taught at Princeton Community Middle School for five years as a social studies teacher. During his tenure at Princeton, Mr. Dunn obtained his Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati. He has spent the last 12 years as an administrator the in Northwest Local School District. He was an instructional coach and assistant principal at Northwest High School for five years, followed by five years as the principal of Pleasant Run Elementary and most recently, principal of Pleasant Run Middle School for the past two years. 
 
Kings Assistant Superintendent, Timothy J. Spinner said, "Mr. Dunn brings a wealth of middle school classroom and administrative experience with him; providing for an excellent instructional leadership fit."
 
Eric lives in West Chester with his wife and two sons. His sons love high school football and basketball and he is very excited to expose his family into the Kings community.
