A recent article in the Cincinnati Business Courier shows that Kings High School is among the top ten public high schools in the Greater Cincinnati area for posting the highest average ACT score for the 2015-2016 school year.
KHS posts an average ACT score of 25. The state of Ohio held an average composite score of 22.o in 2016, which was above the national average of 20.8. The highest possible score on the ACT is 36.
According to the article, the average ACT score of students at the University of Cincinnati is 24.5.
The ACT test is one of the many ways schools and colleges gauge college readiness.
