KHS Announces 2023 Valedictorian & Salutatorian

Kanushi Navaneethakrishnan and Aaron Groff who were named Valedictorian and Salutatorian for KHS 2023

Kings High School has announced the Class of 2023 Valedictorian and Salutatorian. Congratulations to Kanushi Navaneethakrishnan and Aaron Groff who were named Valedictorian and Salutatorian, respectively.

Kanushi is the daughter of Narayanasamy and Nithya Navaneethakrishnan. She will graduate with a 4.62 grade point average. She plans to attend the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill to study Data Science and BioChemistry on a pre-med track. 

Throughout high school, Kanushi has been involved in the Women in STEM organization serving as their Vice-President. She is also a co-founder of Y-Company and advocates for sustainable fashion. She has also spoken at Ted X Cincinnati about the importance of sustainability. She is also the founder and trainer of an American Accent training course. Placed top 10% in a global Breakthrough Junior Challenge and most recently was awarded the Franklin B. Walter and the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators scholarships.

Aaron's parents are Janelle and Andrew Groff. He will graduate with a grade point average of 4.68. His future plans include studying Chemical Engineering at either Carnegie Mellon University, Cornell University, the University of Wisconsin, or the University of Alabama. 

Aaron is a National Merit Finalist. While in high school, he was a member of the Kings Bowling Team, Math Team, National Honor Society, and Spanish National Honor Society. When not in school, Aaron held a job as a lifeguard for Swim Safe.
