Kings Named Best Community for Music Education for 9th Year in a Row

For the ninth year in a row, the Kings Local School District is proud to announce that we have been named a Best Community for Music Education by the NAMM Foundation for our outstanding commitment to music education.
The Best Communities for Music Education designation is awarded to districts that demonstrate outstanding achievement in efforts to provide music access and education to all students. To qualify for the Best Communities designation, Kings' music teacher Scott Hayward answered detailed questions about funding, graduation requirements, music class participation, instruction time, facilities, support for the music program, and community music-making programs.
This special designation wouldn't be possible without our award-winning music staff: Carolyn Dillon, Scott Hayward, Matt Jenkins, Jennifer Maegly, Mike Maegly, Brian McDonough, Hope Milthaler, Joe Polen, Jennifer Reeder, Melanie Sherby, Rana Southern, and Chris Weber.
