- KHS Career Services and the KHS Counseling Department both post Job Shadow, Internship, Site Visit, Career Exploration and Summer Learning events on the Opportunity Board in Schoolinks.
Students can access that by choosing "Engage" in Schoolinks, then clicking "Opportunity Board". They can sort experiences according to the types listed above. They can also search words like "Pharmacy", "Engineering" or "Education" to come up with specific college-hosted experiences.

- Experiences are hosted by local colleges, employers and hospitals.
- Experiences vary in duration; some may be one week long, others a month or the whole summer.
