Graduation Requirements
A minimum of 23 credits is required for graduation by the Kings Board of Education. It is the student’s responsibility to see that requirements for graduation are met. Our school counselors will make every effort to keep up-to-date records and to inform the student and parents about the student’s progress toward the completion of graduation requirements.
Students must also pass a state testing requirement and complete 50 hours of community service to receive an Ohio High School Diploma from Kings.

State Testing Requirement
Overview
According to the Ohio Department of Education, students must also meet state or national testing criteria to earn a diploma. The State criteria for the class of 2022 differs from the Class of 2023 and beyond as Permanent Pathways are phased in.
KHS will likely be adopting a universal approach that helps all students meet these criteria.
